Hector is an adjunct professor in the department of social and political sciences at Bocconi University and Research Fellow at CLEAN. Prior to assuming this position he was a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Essex, a lecturer at the University of Birmingham, and a postdoctoral fellow at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. His major research and teaching interests are in the areas of behavioural science, political economy, public economics, and corruption. He has published numerous articles on these topics in journals like American Political Science Review, Annual Review of Political Science, Experimental Economics or PLOSOne.
